Senior IT Manager - IT Infrastructure (Chennai - Teynampet)

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain physical rack servers, blade servers, and IS server environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
- Perform server allocation, resource planning, storage management, and capacity optimization.
- Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
- Configure and manage firewalls Cisco, etc.).
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, and enterprise networking infrastructure.
- Configure and manage network switches, routers, and access points.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues with mínimal downtime.
- Manage database servers (Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Execute database queries, performance tuning, backups, restoration, indexing, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure regular backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.




- Monitor IT infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools and ensure high availability.
- Implement cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access control policies.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, network diagrams, SOPs, and asset inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, OEMs, and cloud service providers.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
- Manage IT procurement, licensing, warranty renewals, and annual maintenance contracts (AMC).
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the IT Infrastructure Team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
