Business Controller (Hybrid)
- Full time, Banglore, India_
In this role, you will be reviewing all of the financial reporting requirements and accounting practices of BCD Travel or a specific region. Establishes financial plans, policies and procedures to ensure that the assets of the company are secure, expenditures are properly outlined and contractual obligations are properly paid.
- As a Business Controller, you will
- Provide oversight of and strategic direction to the functional areas of the reporting area
- Manage the Finance Department, including but not limited to, the general accounting, payroll, and Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) functions.
- Review monthly consolidated and branch financial statements, including financial projections and variance analysis.
- Manage personnel including hiring, counseling, scheduling, terminating, training, inspiring and evaluating.
- Provide for the proper staffing and servicing of all operations within responsibility.
Builds a team capable of carrying out objectives.
- About you
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field
- Relavent years of experience in Finance/Accounting role
- Proficiency with ERPs and MS-office required
- Proficiency in SAP / R3 FI & CO preferred
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
