To excel as a Sales and Operations Executive in the interior surfaces and decor industry, you must blend technical product expertise with proactive business development. Your role centers on converting a premium retail space into a hub for architects, interior designers, and high-end clients.Core Responsibilities
- Specialized Product Sales: Promote and sell a comprehensive range of interior solutions, including Furniture & Soft Furnishing.
- Architect & Designer Liaison: Conduct regular field visits to meet architects and interior designers to get your products "specified" in their upcoming residential or commercial projects.
- Showroom & Operations Management: Oversee the retail space to ensure displays of furniture and furnishing are well-organized, and visually appealing to walk-in clients.
- Documentation & Quotes: Prepare detailed and professional price quotations and project proposals using Microsoft Excel.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, from initial inquiry and site measurements to final delivery and after-sales support.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site visits, lead conversions, and sales targets using MS Office or CRM tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Product Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Furniture, Fabrics & techniques.
- Experience:Should have minimum 1 year of experience in selling interior products.
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for complex quote calculations and PowerPoint for design presentations).
- Communication: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals with contractors and demanding luxury clients.
- Field Readiness: Willingness to travel for on-site meetings and project inspections (a valid two-wheeler license is often required
