Job Summary

The Monarch Enterprises is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support to employees and maintain the company's desktop systems, laptops, printers, software, and basic network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and laptop technical support to employees.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows, software, and computer hardware.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and basic network issues.
- Install and configure printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
- Maintain IT hardware inventory and asset records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
- Perform basic data backup, antivirus, and IT security activities.




- Resolve day-to-day IT issues and employee technical queries.
- Maintain records of IT complaints, repairs, and equipment allocation.

Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
- Windows installation and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking knowledge including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Printer and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Software installation and configuration.
- Basic knowledge of antivirus and data backup.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Hardware & Networking, or a related field.
- Hardware & Networking certification will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Hardware Support, or Hardware & Networking.
