A Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is a medical skilled who provides immediate care to patients in a hospital setting. They also manage patient admissions and discharges. Responsibilities
- Patient care: Assess patients, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment
- Patient records: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Patient education: Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans
- Medical emergencies: Respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support
- Staff coordination: Work with nursing staff and other medical professionals
- Patient admissions and discharges: Review patient records and ensure patients are medically stable before discharge
- Quality improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Health programs: Contribute to the development of health programs
- Community care: Provide counseling and support to individuals and families on health-related issues

Education and experience
- A DMO typically has an MBBS degree and TNMC registration
- Experience in a similar managerial role is desirable

Pay: ₹45,681.93 - ₹50,432.39 per month
