Job Summary

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Office Operations
- Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and enquiry management:
- Greet patients professionally and guide them through OPD, diagnostics, and billing
- Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, counsellors, and OT teams
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and visit records

Billing Responsibilities
- Generate OPD, investigation, procedure, and surgery bills accurately
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and insurance billing:
- Ensure correct package selection for cataract / refractive / other procedures
- Daily cash closing, billing reconciliation, and report submission

TPA / Insurance Coordination
- Handle cashless cases for TPAs and corporate panels




- Upload documents, estimates, and medical records on TPA portals
- Coordinate for pre-authorization, approvals, and discharge billing:
- Ensure compliance with TPA guidelines and timelines
- Follow up for pending approvals and document clarifications

Eye Hospital Knowledge
- Basic understanding of:
- Cataract, Refractive, Retina, and OPD procedures
- Pre-operative and post-operative billing requirements
- Ability to explain bills and insurance coverage clearly to patients

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate (preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in an eye hospital or healthcare setup
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing & TPA panels:
- Familiarity with HIS / billing software (eye hospital software preferred)
- Good communication skills in Hindi & English:
- Well-organized, polite, and patient-friendly approach
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy OPD environment
