Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based scripts and automation solutions.
- Integrate with external REST APIs, handling authentication, pagination, rate limiting, retries, and error management.
- Normalize, transform, and process complex JSON payloads from multiple data sources.
- Build reliable data pipelines that convert inconsistent input data into standardized output formats.
- Implement structured logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms to improve system reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Create lightweight test suites, fixtures, and validation frameworks to ensure solution quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainable and reusable code.

Technical Skills
- Strong programming and scripting expertise in Python (preferred) or Starlark.
- Extensive experience working with REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with:




- OAuth2 and token-based authentication
- API pagination
- Rate limiting
- Retry mechanisms and exponential backoff strategies
- Solid understanding of JSON data processing, including:
- Nested objects and arrays
- Optional and missing fields
- Data type inconsistencies
- Data normalization and transformation
- Experience with structured logging and observability practices.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and test fixtures.
