Business Development Executive Intern - Internship + PPO

Role Overview
- Datafuel is seeking a motivated and target-oriented Business Development Executive Intern to join our Sales and Business Development team.
- This 6-month Internship + PPO program is designed to provide comprehensive, hands-on exposure to the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, prospecting, pitching, follow-ups, and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Call Handling: The intern will manage inbound inquiries and conduct outbound calls to understand prospect requirements and identify potential business opportunities. They will qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and intent, and schedule relevant discovery calls or product demos.
- Pitching & Conversion: The intern will participate in sales calls via Google Meet or Zoom, present Datafuel’s offerings effectively, understand client requirements,



and handle basic objections. The role involves actively supporting the movement of prospects through the sales funnel and contributing to conversions.
- Sales Learning & Development: The intern will gain practical exposure to B2B sales and business development while contributing to sales scripts, outreach messaging, pitch decks, and other sales enablement materials. They will also be expected to learn from interactions and provide feedback to improve sales processes.
- Performance Measurement : Performance will be evaluated based on lead generation, number of calls conducted, qualified meetings or demos scheduled, conversion rates, pipeline development, follow-up discipline, CRM accuracy, and overall contribution to revenue generation. The role requires a strong focus on measurable outcomes, accountability, and consistent execution.
