We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our petro oil treatment industry establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily purchase and sales records and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting documentation.
- Manage salary and employee payment processing.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Maintain proper records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with GST compliance and filing, including preparation and verification of relevant data and documents.
- Coordinate with the CA for GST, taxation, accounting, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Maintain and organize accounting records, bills, vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents.
- Support preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting information as required.
- Handle occasional field visits/work related to collections,
documentation, banking, purchases, or other business requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and administrative activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies or compliance issues and bring them to the attention of management/CA.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of relevant prior experience in accounting is preferred.
- Practical experience in daily purchase and sales accounting.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and routine accounting activities.
- Hands-on experience with salary/payroll payments.
- Working knowledge of GST and GST filing/compliance.
- Experience coordinating with a CA or accounting/tax skilled.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidential financial information.
- Willingness to work from the
