Why do we exist? What do we do?

The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal.Their chances of attending college, or building a career are significantly lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born in 2015 to challenge this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.
- Key Responsibilities:
A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The three different parts of the role are:
- Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students
- Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy
- Collaborate with parents of the students through regular meetings to ensure their active involvement




- Mentoring students (20% time)- Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year
- Develop ways to ensure that these students have solid study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel - share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem
- Help with school projects (20% time)- Collaborate with Senior Teachers to implement school projects such as Hobby Clubs, Career Awareness, Annual Day, Sports Day, etc
- Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers
- Prerequisites
- Required: Bachelor's Degree with strong academic and holistic performance.:
- Preferred: Art Teacher Diploma(ATD) / Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) / GD Arts.:
- Preferred: Teaching experience in a school for 1-2 years.
