Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

The primary responsibilities of the Dy. Manager-Transmission PU Maintenance will encompass the comprehensive upkeep and optimisation of transmission power unit systems within Mahindra tractors. Key deliverables include:
Maintaining operational efficiency by overseeing all maintenance activities related to transmission systems, ensuring minimum downtime and optimal performance.

Proactively identifying and resolving chronic and recurring issues impacting system reliability, utilising root cause analysis and preventive strategies.

Planning and coordinating spare parts management to ensure timely availability and cost-efficient inventory control, thereby minimising production delays.

Leading preventive maintenance (PM) initiatives, ensuring scheduled maintenance tasks are effectively executed to uphold system integrity and safety standards.

Conducting in-depth failure and breakdown (b/d) analyses to develop corrective actions and continuous improvements, fostering enhanced equipment durability and reliability.





Driving safety adherence protocols specific to transmission maintenance operations, supervising compliance with company and industry safety standards to protect personnel and assets.

Spearheading recent project implementations related to transmission systems by collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to design validation, and facilitating smooth integration into existing production lines.

Mentoring and developing maintenance teams by sharing technical expertise and encouraging a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and effective communication to align maintenance activities with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
