Job Opening:Pharmacy Manager (Purchase & Inventory)

Position Overview

Role: Manager (Pharmacy)

Location: Patna, Bihar

Experience Required: 3-6 years in pharmacy operations or retail pharmaceutical management

Education:B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) preferred / M.Pharma or MBA in Supply Chain is a plus

Compensation: ₹5,00,000 - ₹6,00,000 LPA (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

1. Purchase Control & Vendor Management

Source and procure pharmaceutical drugs, surgical items, and wellness products.

Negotiate pricing, margins, and credit terms with distributors, stockists, and manufacturing companies to maximize profitability.

Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and new drug introductions.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

Maintain accurate inventory tracking to prevent both stockouts and over-stocking.

Implement strict control measures for expiry dates, near-expiry stock returns, and damages.

Conduct regular audits and physical stock verification.

3. Sales & Operations Leadership





Analyze sales data to optimize product availability based on local market demand.

Supervise and mentor the counter sales team to ensure high-quality customer service.

Ensure absolute compliance with state drug regulations, licensing laws, and storage standards (e.g., cold chain maintenance).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Knowledge:Deep understanding of molecule names, substitutes, brand margins, and pharmaceutical supply chains in Bihar.

Software Skills: Hands-on experience with pharmacy management software (e.g., Marg ERP, RetailGraph, or similar billing/inventory tools).

Core Competencies: Robust analytical mind, sharp negotiation skills, and excellent team management abilities.

License: Must have a valid registered pharmacist license with the Bihar State Pharmacy Council (if applicable for the specific entity registration).

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
