As part of our team, you'll work on cutting-edge AI products used daily by mortgage lenders across the US while collaborating directly with customers and cross-functional teams.

About the Role

This is an end-to-end ownership role where you'll design, build, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve backend services in a cooperative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
- Develop integrations with third-party mortgage ecosystem platforms, including LOS systems, credit providers, income and asset verification services,



and document management vendors.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas to support evolving business requirements.
- Build asynchronous and event-driven workflows using queues, workers, and webhooks for document processing and loan workflows.
- Ensure system reliability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and proactive issue resolution.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
- Collaborate closely with Frontend Developers, AI Engineers, Product Managers, and US-based customers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and take ownership through resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional backend development experience, primarily using Python.
- Strong experience with modern Python
