Job Summary

The Non-Technical Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing non-technical goods and services required for project and operational activities. The role will manage the complete procurement cycle from RFQ issuance and vendor identification to commercial evaluation, negotiation, purchase order placement, and delivery follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of non-technical materials, consumables, services, and general supplies.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs to approved and potential vendors.
- Obtain and compare commercial quotations.
- Conduct commercial evaluations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved procurement procedures.




- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor open POs and follow up on delayed deliveries.
- Coordinate with Project, SCM, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, and Administration teams.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, quotations, and purchase documentation.
- Support vendor registration, prequalification, and performance evaluation.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and procurement optimization.
- Resolve commercial and supplier-related issues.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
- Prepare procurement status reports and MIS for management.
