Job Description - Social Media Marketer

Designation: Social Media Marketer

Job Purpose

To develop and execute the hotel's social media and digital marketing activities to increase brand awareness, hotel bookings, engagement, event promotions, and overall online visibility across relevant digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management
- Manage the hotel's official social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
- Create and publish engaging posts, reels, stories, videos and promotional content.
- Ensure all content reflects the hotel's brand standards, tone and image.
- Respond to comments, messages, reviews and customer enquiries professionally and promptly.

Content Creation
- Create attractive content showcasing rooms, restaurants, facilities, events, offers and guest experiences.
- Write creative captions, hashtags and promotional copy.
- Develop content around festivals, special occasions, food promotions, weddings, conferences and hotel events.

3. Marketing & Promotions
- Plan and execute social media campaigns for room bookings, restaurants, banquets, weddings, corporate events and seasonal offers.
- Promote hotel packages, F&B; offers, staycation packages and special events.
- Coordinate with the Sales, F&B;, Front Office and Banquets teams to collect information for promotions.
- Support paid social media campaigns and coordinate with digital marketing agencies, where applicable.

4. Influencer & Online Promotion
- Identify suitable travel, lifestyle, food and hospitality influencers.
- Coordinate influencer collaborations and hotel visits.
