Our client is a leading snack food equipment manufacturing company in India.

The position is based in Nasik. The Design Engineer will be responsible for execution and development of designing activities to exceed customer expectation for product quality, cost and maximizing efficiency, optimizing production levels and driving operational process excellence. The position will drive key performance across all areas of Designing functions to ensure on-time delivery while ensuring meeting requisite quality standards. He will also involve in improvements & setting up key processes along with continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the study, research and design of a company’s new product or existing product
- Execute Design & development (Standard /non Standard) drawings as per agreed timeline.
- Ensure timely Preparation of accurate design.
- Thinking of possible design solutions.
- Ensure preparation of BOM as per drawing in SAP.
- On time delivery of project with Drawing/BOM (SAP)/ technical detail/layout/costing.




- Establish improvement in Material Margin and optimizing the scrap generation (knowledge of nesting of sheet metal part)
- Implement continuous improvement of Design processes and up gradation for better productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure timely handover of design and drawings to the production department.
- Ensure timely Update drawing as per changes happed at the time of production
- Positive knowledge of Modeling & GD&T;, Good
- Understanding of Drawing.

Design Preparation and Execution
- Prepare and Execute Product design to as per agreed cost, quality and timelines.
- Ensure improvement of Material cost.
- Periodically monitor and review of Designs for improvement.

Quality, Environment, Health & Safety
- Set up comprehensive process of standard design to ensure product quality and specifications are consistent.
