Dream Volunteers’ mission is to position young people across the globe to become change makers through education, service and cross-cultural connections. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, based in the United States, coordinating both local and international service learning programs for youth. These programs include academic scholarships for our international students living in under-resourced communities; service trips abroad for US-based student groups; cross-cultural connections programming for our international students and the visiting volunteers.

Job Summary

The India Program Director is responsible for serving as in-country trip leader for Dream Volunteers (DV) groups, managing DV-sponsored service projects, and overseeing the Young Dreamer group as a mentor, advocate and coach.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service Project Management
- Meet with local government and school officials to procure necessary permissions to carry out service projects
- Manage timelines and communicate progress regularly with DV Senior Program Director




- Work with school leaders to create a list of projects to carry out

Trip Leader for DV Groups
- Organize lodging and transportation with Jaipur-based tour operator
- Co-create itineraries with DV Program Coordinator
- Attend and participate in service work days and other activities
- Support DV trip leader to use medical clinics when need arises
- Attend online information sessions and meetings with educators as needed prior to trips

Young Dreamer Program
- Connections with Dream Volunteers Trip Participants_
- Organize logistics for all Young Dreamers to connect with trip participants and participate to the fullest extent possible
- Workshops, Mini-grants & Mentorship _
- Oversee implementation of monthly workshops (designed by Dream Volunteers Senior Program Director)
- Oversee annual community service project in Jaipur from October thru December
- Provide tutoring and mentorship to our Young Dreamers with the support
