Why do we exist? What do we do?

The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of attending college, or building a career are significantly lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born in 2015 to challenge this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.
- Key Responsibilities:
A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The three different parts of the role are:
- Use existing resources and design creative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans
- Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students
- Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy
- Collaborate with the parents of the students through regular meetings to create a positive learning environment




- ll - Mentoring students (20% time)- Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year
- Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel-share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem
- Mentor students to identify a best-fit career after Grade X
- lll - Leading projects in school (20% time)- Work with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead multiple projects essential to student learning (based on your talents), such as Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs, etc.
- Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers
- Education & Experience:
- Required: B.Ed/D.Ed with more than 60%
- Required: CTET (Paper 1 or 2) / MHTET
