Key Responsibilities1. Core Search Engine Optimization (SEO & Local SEO)
- Develop, execute, and scale comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance organic traffic and local search visibility.
- Handle end-to-end on-page optimization: keyword intent mapping, inner page structure, meta tags, and high-impact internal linking.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and fix crawl, indexation, and rendering issues using Google Search Console and other diagnostic tools.
- Monitor, analyze, and disavow low-quality or spammy backlinks to maintain a healthy link profile.
- Optimize WordPress-specific architecture, manage essential plugins, and resolve core website speed and performance bottlenecks (Core Web Vitals).

3. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Optimize web properties for AI-powered search engines and generative summaries (e.g., Google Search Generative Experience, ChatGPT, Copilot).
- Build entity authority and semantic relevance so our brand is consistently cited and referenced within AI-generated responses.




- Align content strategy with topical authority frameworks rather than just traditional keyword density.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in executing successful SEO campaigns, with a solid grasp of evolving AI search landscapes (AEO and GEO).
- Core Competencies:
- Solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO elements (indexing, architecture, image optimization).
- WordPress proficiency: handling optimization plugins, troubleshooting code, and optimizing site speed.
- Tool Stack Mastery: Highly proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console (formerly Webmaster Tools), Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile, and industry tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
- Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Outstanding ability to think strategically, solve complex technical problems creatively, and interpret data-driven insights.
