Job Summary

Asahi India Glass Ltd. (AIS) is seeking a dedicated and proactive Pallet Repair & Maintenance Incharge to manage pallet maintenance, repair, inventory control, and availability for production and dispatch operations. The role is critical in ensuring smooth plant operations through effective pallet management, timely repairs, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesPallet Maintenance & Planning
- Plan and execute timely repair and maintenance of damaged pallets.
- Ensure adequate pallet availability to support production and dispatch requirements.
- Monitor pallet condition and implement preventive maintenance practices.
- Coordinate procurement of pallet repair materials and consumables.

Inventory & Operations Management
- Maintain accurate pallet inventory records and stock levels.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage, handling,



and movement of pallets within the facility.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and dispatch teams to meet operational requirements.

Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve pallet utilization and operational efficiency.
- Implement corrective actions to reduce pallet-related losses and downtime.
- Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for pallet management.

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
- Conduct safety awareness meetings and toolbox talks.
- Maintain a secure working environment and support safety audits.
- Report and address unsafe conditions promptly.

Manpower Development
- Guide and support team members in daily activities.
- Promote employee engagement and continuous learning.
