- Key Responsibilities for Data BA/PM
- 1. Business & Requirements Management
- Gather, analyse,



and document business requirements related to data, reporting, analytics, and insights.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to understand data needs and define success criteria.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for data engineering and analytics teams.
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and user stories.
- 2. Data Analysis & Data Governance
- Analyse source-to-target data flows and identify data quality issues.
- Define data mapping, data lineage, and business rules.
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring adherence to data standards and policies.
- Collaborate with data stewards and governance teams on metadata management and data cataloging.
