Job Overview

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Instruction
- Course Delivery: Teach undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses in pharmaceutics, including but not limited to drug formulation, drug delivery systems, biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical technology, and pharmacokinetics.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and update course materials, lectures, lab exercises, and assignments. Ensure that the curriculum is in alignment with current industry standards and advances in the field.
- Student Mentoring: Provide academic advisement to students and supervise graduate research projects and theses in pharmaceutics.
- Assessment: Develop and administer exams, assignments, and projects, and grade student work in a timely manner. Provide constructive feedback to support student development.

Research
- Research Leadership:



Establish and maintain an active research program in pharmaceutics, focusing on areas such as drug formulation, nanotechnology, controlled drug delivery, bioavailability, or other relevant topics in pharmaceutics.
- Publications: Publish research findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals and present at academic conferences. Encourage and guide students in research-related publications.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other academic departments, industry partners, and research organizations on projects that advance pharmaceutical sciences.

Service
- Committee Participation: Participate in departmental, college, and university committees as needed, contributing to the development of academic policies and departmental activities.
- Professional Development: Keep abreast of the latest developments in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical sciences by attending conferences, workshops, and engaging in qualified organizations.
