Job Summary

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sourcing
- Understand technical requirements shared by the engineering team.
- Source electronic, electrical, and mechanical components from suitable suppliers.
- Review datasheets, product specifications, and technical documentation.
- Identify alternate components and suppliers when required.
- Research product availability, lead times, and pricing.

Vendor Management
- Identify and develop relationships with new vendors and suppliers.
- Request quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications and order updates.
- Maintain records of supplier information and quotations.

Procurement Operations
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Track orders from placement to delivery.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding procurement requirements.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation.

Market Research
- Conduct market research for recent products, components, and suppliers.




- Compare multiple sourcing options based on technical specifications, pricing, and lead times.
- Stay updated on component availability and market trends.

Inventory & Coordination Support
- Assist in maintaining records of purchased components and materials.
- Coordinate with engineering and stores teams regarding procurement requirements.
- Support procurement planning for ongoing projects.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Basic understanding of electronic and engineering components.
- Ability to read and understand technical datasheets and specifications.
- Familiarity with motors, sensors, connectors, power supplies, batteries, electronic components, and mechanical hardware.
- Ability to perform vendor and product research effectively.

Software Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and procurement records.
