We are now seeking a meticulous and organized Data Curator to oversee and maintain a centralized database of questionnaires and surveys used across research, evaluation, or data collection initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curating, updating, and ensuring the quality, accessibility, and proper documentation of COA instruments, including metadata, version control, licensing information, and usage history. This role is essential for supporting research compliance, operational efficiency, and data integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Management
Maintain a structured, searchable database or repository of validated questionnaires and survey instruments.
Ensure accurate entry, updating, and version tracking of instruments, along with relevant metadata (e.g., author, year, domain, licensing terms).
Implement and manage tagging, indexing, and classification systems to ensure easy retrieval and discoverability.
Data Governance & Documentation
Ensure all instruments are properly documented,



including copyright status, usage permissions, scoring instructions, and language availability.
Track and manage questionnaire licensing terms in collaboration with legal or licensing teams.
Maintain audit trails and change logs for all updates and modifications to instruments or associated data.
Quality Control
Regularly review the database for accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
Identify and flag outdated, duplicate, or unlicensed instruments and coordinate with stakeholders for updates or removals.
Apply standard naming conventions and controlled vocabularies to ensure consistency.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with researchers, analysts, and project teams to ensure access to appropriate and up-to-date survey tools.
Assist in onboarding current instruments by verifying quality, compatibility, and licensing status.
Process Improvement
Develop and refine SOPs for questionnaire intak
