CX Engineering | Experience: 5+ Years | Role Type: Software Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, and deliver scalable software solutions, driving end-to-end implementation across complex cloud-native and on-premises architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications and services aligned with Cisco’s Design Thinking Principles.
Write functional, clean code and unit tests with minimal guidance,



enabling scale, reliability, and velocity in product releases.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement current features that address customer needs.
Lead small-to-medium features or projects with limited complexity from technical design through completion.
Utilize AI-powered coding assistants, automation tools, and AI-driven analytics to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and optimize software performance.
Stay current on industry trends, software development lifecycle, and agile engineering practices; coach others as needed.
Required Qualifications (Mandatory)
Working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge in primary technical job family; proficient with current technologies.
Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, secure coding practices, and best practices.
