Job Description

About The Founders
The Founders runs a monthly Founders x Investors Pitch Event series in Mumbai. Each edition brings together 10+ early-stage startups, 20+ investors, and 80+ attendees for an evening built around 7-minute pitches followed by 7-minute investor Q&A;, closing with a networking session where founders, investors, and partners connect directly.

Our next edition is on 30th August, 4–8 PM, at AIC-NMIMS Incubation Centre, Vile Parle, Mumbai.

Role Overview
Role: Sales & Sponsorships Intern
Duration: 6 months
Stipend: ₹5,000/month + variable, based on your capability and results
Location: Mumbai — in-office at least 4 days/week (this is a hands-on sales role built around event selling and getting sponsorships, so in-person presence is required)

What You'll Do

Identify, research, and reach out to potential sponsors for each event edition
Sell event sponsorship packages via calls, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email
Reach out to startups and invite them to apply to pitch at our events




Build and maintain a sponsor outreach pipeline, following up consistently until deals close
Negotiate sponsorship terms and coordinate deliverables with confirmed sponsors
Represent The Founders on sponsor calls and in-person meetings
Coordinate sponsor logistics before, during, and after each event
Track outreach activity, calls, and conversions, and report progress regularly

What We're Looking For

Solid communication skills — confident on calls and in writing
Comfortable with cold outreach, and doesn't lose momentum after rejection
Organized, follows up consistently, and doesn't let leads go cold
Based in Mumbai and able to come into office at least 4 days a week
No prior experience required — attitude and hustle matter more than a resume
