Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Banquet Chef to manage food production and kitchen operations for weddings, corporate events, conferences, parties, and large-scale functions. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in banquet kitchens, hotels, resorts, or large-scale catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare food for banquets, weddings, corporate events, and other functions.
- Prepare high-volume food while maintaining consistent taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Coordinate with the Banquet Manager and F&B; team regarding guest count, menus, event timings, and special requirements.
- Supervise Commis Chefs, kitchen helpers, and other kitchen staff.
- Plan daily food production and ensure timely preparation as per event schedules.
- Monitor raw material requirements, kitchen inventory, and food storage.
- Control food costs and minimize wastage through proper portioning and production planning.
- Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards are followed.




- Handle special dietary requirements and customized menus when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes for banquet and event menus.
- Conduct quality checks before food is sent for service.

Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Food Production, Catering Technology, or a relevant culinary qualification.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Banquet Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role in a hotel, resort, banquet facility, or catering company.
- Strong knowledge of Indian and/or multi-cuisine food production.
- Experience in bulk cooking and large-scale food production is essential.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, preferably FSSAI/HACCP.
