Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Café Chef – Continental Cuisine to manage food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in Continental cuisine with strong knowledge of café-style food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of Continental dishes including pasta, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, appetizers, and other café-style preparations.
- Maintain consistent taste, quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Follow standardized recipes and ensure proper food preparation techniques.
- Assist in developing new menu items, seasonal specials, and innovative café dishes.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation before serving.
- Manage daily kitchen operations and supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase team for ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain food cost, portion control, and minimize food wastage.




- Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
- Follow FSSAI/HACCP and other applicable food safety standards.
- Handle special customer requests and dietary requirements when required.

Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Food Production, Catering Technology, or a relevant culinary qualification.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Chef/Café Chef specializing in Continental Cuisine in a café, restaurant, hotel, or resort.
- Strong knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and food presentation.
- Experience in kitchen team supervision and daily kitchen operations.
- Positive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, inventory, and cost control.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekend
