Job Overview

Fitbird Private Limited is looking for a skilled and hands-on Optical Fibre Technician for execution of OFC networking and infrastructure projects. The candidate should be comfortable with field work, cable laying, splicing, testing and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
- Laying and routing of Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) through conduits, trenches and cable trays.
- OFC splicing, jointing and termination.
- Installation of LIU, patch panels, pigtails and fibre connectors.
- Testing of OFC using OTDR, optical power meter and related testing equipment.
- Identification and troubleshooting of fibre faults and link losses.
- Laying and termination of CAT-6/network cables wherever required.
- Installation and basic configuration of network switches and media converters.
- Support installation of CCTV cameras and other IP-based systems.
- Installation of network racks,



junction boxes and associated networking hardware.
- Reading basic cable layouts and executing work as per site requirements.
- Maintaining records of fibre cores, splicing, testing and completed links.
- Coordination with engineers and site teams for timely completion of work.

Qualification & Experience

ITI / Diploma / Certification in Optical Fibre, Networking, Electronics, Electrical or related field.

Candidates should preferably have practical experience in OFC laying, splicing and OTDR testing. Freshers with relevant practical training may also apply.

Preferred Skills

The candidate should be technically sound, hardworking and willing to travel to project sites across India. Ability to independently handle OFC splicing, testing and troubleshooting will be preferred.

Immediate joining candidates preferred.

Pay: ₹9,766.01 - ₹18,501.57 per month
