About Kwill

Kwill is a client portal for freelancers and small studios — proposals, contracts, invoices, payments and a branded client portal in one place. We're launching in September across 20 markets, and we're building from Amritsar for customers in India, the US, the UK, Europe and Australia.

You'd be our first sales hire. That means the playbook doesn't exist yet — you'd write it.

The role

You'll own our two highest-value plans end to end: Collective (our team tier) and Custom (bespoke deployments for agencies, franchises and larger firms, typically $4,000–$15,000 plus a monthly licence).

That means finding the deals, running the conversations, closing them — and then staying with the account afterwards. You're not handing off after signature. Renewals, upgrades and keeping customers happy are yours too.

What you'll do
- Source and qualify leads for Collective and Custom plans across India and international markets
- Run discovery calls and demos, and translate what a customer needs into what we can actually build
- Write proposals, negotiate scope and pricing, and close




- Own accounts after signature — onboarding, check-ins, renewals, upgrades
- Work directly with the founder and engineering team on what Custom clients need
- Keep the CRM honest and give us a pipeline forecast we can plan against
- Tell us what you're hearing — you'll be closest to the customer, and that should shape the roadmap

What we're looking for
- 1–3 years in tech sales, SaaS sales, or B2B account management
- You've carried a target and hit it
- Solid written and spoken English — you'll be selling to buyers in the US, UK and Europe
- Comfortable explaining a technical product to a non-technical buyer
- Organised enough to manage a pipeline and a book of accounts at the same time
- Comfortable with ambiguity. We're pre-launch. Some weeks you'll be inventing the process
