Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect bags and luggage products at different stages of manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection within the bags, luggage, leather goods, textile, or similar manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of bags and luggage.
- Inspect raw materials, fabrics, zippers, buckles, handles, stitching, linings, and other components.
- Check finished products for dimensions, stitching, finishing, colour, shape, functionality, and overall appearance.
- Identify defects, deviations, and quality issues and record inspection findings.
- Ensure products meet approved samples, specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Perform sampling inspections as per defined quality procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to identify the root cause of defects.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and defect rates and report recurring issues.
- Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, defect records,



and quality documentation.
- Support corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality.
- Conduct regular process checks on the shop floor.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and SOPs.

Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Textile, Leather Technology, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or any relevant technical qualification.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector/Quality Executive in Bags, Luggage, Leather Goods, Textile, Footwear, or similar manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of quality inspection techniques, defect identification, sampling, and measurement tools.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality documentation preferred.
- Valuable observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting.
