Role Summary
The Archer Specialist will be responsible for end‑to‑end implementation, configuration, and support of the RSA Archer GRC platform. This role involves working closely with business, risk, compliance, and IT teams to design solutions, build applications and workflows, integrate Archer with enterprise systems, and ensure the platform effectively supports the organization’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) needs.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation
Understand business requirements across risk, compliance, audit, security, and IT functions.
Design Archer solutions and application structures aligned to GRC processes and frameworks.
Configure and customize Archer applications, fields, layouts, workflows, and notifications.
Implement out‑of‑the‑box and custom use cases (e.g., Enterprise Risk, Issues Management, Policy Management, Third‑Party Risk, Audit Management).
Platform Configuration & Administration
Perform day‑to‑day administration of the Archer platform including user management, access control, roles, and groups.




Configure and maintain data driven events (DDEs), calculated fields, cross‑references, and advanced workflow.
Manage instances, environments (Dev/Test/Prod), and participate in deployment and release activities.
Monitor platform performance, conduct health checks, and coordinate with infrastructure teams for optimization.
Integration & Data Management
Design and implement integrations between Archer and other enterprise systems (e.g., SIEM, ticketing, CMDB, HR systems, ERP, reporting tools).
Work with APIs, data feeds, and ETL processes to import/export data into Archer.
Define and manage data models, hierarchies, and relationships within Archer to support reporting and analytics.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across applications.
GRC Process Enablement
Translate GRC policies, standards, and procedures into Archer workflows, questionnaires, and assessments.
