The Driver Cum Supervisor is responsible for safely transporting cleaning staff, equipment, and materials to customer locations while supervising the cleaning team to ensure high-quality service, punctuality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the company vehicle safely and follow all traffic regulations.
- Transport cleaning staff, machines, and cleaning materials to and from job sites.
- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team during assignments.
- Ensure all cleaning work is completed according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct a pre-job briefing and assign tasks to team members.
- Inspect completed work and resolve any quality issues before leaving the site.
- Maintain attendance and productivity records of the cleaning staff.
- Communicate with customers professionally and address basic concerns on-site.
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and secure storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, serviced, and in good working condition.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, equipment damage,
and operational issues to management.
- Ensure team members follow safety procedures and wear the required protective equipment.
- Support emergency or urgent cleaning assignments when required.
Requirements
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience; supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of deep cleaning procedures and cleaning equipment.
- Physically fit and willing to handle loading and unloading of equipment.
- Honest, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
