Job Description

We are looking for experienced and skilled Surgery Coders to join our healthcare coding team in Tambaram, Chennai.

The ideal candidate should have 1–4 years of experience in Surgery Coding and possess strong knowledge of medical coding guidelines, surgical procedures, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely coding of surgical procedures based on medical documentation.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes as applicable.
- Review operative reports and physician documentation for accurate code assignment.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with applicable coding guidelines.
- Maintain required productivity and quality standards.
- Identify documentation gaps and coding discrepancies.
- Meet daily production and quality targets.

Requirements
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in Surgery Coding.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology.




- Valuable understanding of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines.
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Candidates who can join immediately are highly preferred.
