1. Position Summary

The Vice Principal will support the Principal in the overall academic, administrative, operational, and disciplinary management of the school. The role requires a strong educational leader who can ensure high academic standards, effective teacher performance, student wellbeing, parent satisfaction, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the school in alignment with CBSE guidelines and the school's vision and values.

The Vice Principal will act as a key link between the Principal, teachers, students, parents, and school management and will take leadership responsibility in the Principal's absence.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Academic Leadership
- Support the Principal in planning, implementing, and monitoring the academic programme.
- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum and school academic policies.




- Monitor lesson planning, teaching methodologies, classroom practices, and academic progress.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Review academic planners, worksheets, assessments, examinations, and student performance.
- Track learning outcomes and identify students requiring additional academic support.
- Coordinate remedial, enrichment, and activity-based learning programmes.
- Encourage creative and child-centred teaching practices.
- Work with coordinators and teachers to improve academic standards.

B. Teacher Management & Development
- Supervise teachers and support staff in coordination with the Principal.
- Monitor teacher attendance, punctuality, discipline, classroom management, and professional conduct.
- Conduct regular teacher meetings and academic review meetings.
