Job Summary

The Admission Executive will be responsible for handling the complete In-Patient (IP) admission process for both Cash and Insurance patients. The role involves coordinating with patients, attendants, doctors, nursing, billing, insurance/TPA, and other departments to ensure a smooth and timely admission experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle IP admissions for both Cash and Insurance/TPA patients.
- Explain the admission process, room categories, estimated charges, hospital policies, and required documents to patients and attendants.
- Verify patient details and ensure accurate entry of admission information in the HMS.
- Coordinate with doctors and respective departments regarding admission requirements.
- Check and confirm room/bed availability and coordinate bed allocation.
- Collect required admission documents, consent forms, ID proofs, and other necessary records.
- Coordinate with the Billing Department for advance payment and admission-related billing for cash patients.
- Coordinate with the Insurance/TPA Department for pre-authorization, approvals,



and required documentation for insurance patients.
- Ensure timely completion of insurance admission formalities and follow up on pending approvals.
- Guide patients and attendants regarding room allocation, hospital facilities, visiting hours, and other admission procedures.
- Coordinate with Nursing, Billing, Housekeeping, Security, and other departments for smooth patient shifting and admission.
- Ensure all admission entries and documents are complete and accurate.
- Handle patient and attendant queries professionally and resolve admission-related concerns promptly.
- Maintain proper records of daily admissions, cancellations, transfers, and other IP admission activities.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and patient safety and confidentiality requirements.
- Support the team during peak admission hours and emergency admissions.
