Job Title: Hyperion Developer & Functional Analyst

Position Summary

The
Hyperion Developer & Functional Analyst
is responsible for supporting and enhancing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions for the Finance organization. This role partners closely with Finance stakeholders to design, develop, configure, and support Hyperion applications that enable Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, and Reporting. The position blends
hands‑on technical development
with
robust functional finance expertise
, focusing on process automation, system optimization, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Analysis & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted partner to Finance teams supporting
Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, General Accounting, Financial Controls, and Reporting
processes.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Evaluate current finance processes and recommend system‑driven improvements, automation, and best practices.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end,



and annual planning and close cycles, ensuring system stability and data accuracy.

Hyperion Development & Application Support
- Design, develop, and support
Hyperion / Oracle EPM
applications including:
- Hyperion Planning
- Essbase (BSO/ASO)
- Smart View for Office
- Hyperion Financial Reporting
- EPBCS / PBCS (Enterprise / Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service)
- EPMA (Enterprise Performance Management Architect)
- FDMEE / Data Management.
- Develop and maintain
Essbase calculation scripts, business rules, batch scripts, web forms, and metadata
and Essbase Administration Services (EAS)
- Configure application security, workflows, approval hierarchies, and data validation rules.
- Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and ad‑hoc analysis using Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smart View.
