Key Qualifications
• Robust expertise in Computer Vision and Deep Learning, including defect detection, object detection, OCR, image classification, segmentation, and anomaly detection.
• Hands-on experience with Python, OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from use case discovery and solution design to deployment and operational support.
• Experience implementing solutions within manufacturing, industrial, or shop-floor environments.
• Strong understanding of machine vision systems, industrial cameras, quality inspection, and process monitoring.
• Experience integrating solutions with MES, SCADA, Historians, PLCs, and manufacturing data platforms.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including APIs, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, stakeholder management, and team mentoring capabilities.
• Experience working within regulated environments with a solid understanding of GMP, GxP, GAMP5, CSV, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, Databricks, MLOps, and Edge AI is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business, manufacturing, quality, and technical teams.
Preferred Candidate Profile
A hands-on Technical Lead or Principal Engineer who has successfully deployed Computer Vision solutions in pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environments and can drive initiatives from concept through validation to global production rollout.
