Responsibilities
Part A: Core Responsibilities
- Manage all manufacturing driven initiatives SAFETY ,5S, KAIZEN, TPM, QUALITY CIRCLE
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy,
policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on
Maintenance activities.
- Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems.
- Schedule both internal and external work maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime.
- Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality.
- Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
- Manage the process of the introduction of current machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification.
- Undertake continuous training and development.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
- Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization.
- Provide technical expertise to the team.
- Identify and deploy the technical skill sets,
resource levels and systems to deliver projects,
including the engagement of external resources as required.
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
- Adherence to personal hygiene and GMP standard applicable for the site
- Any irregularities or abnormal incidents related to GMP observed shall be escalated to reporting manager.
- Ensuring that the integrated management system conforms to the requirements of this
International Standard.
- Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
- Reporting on the performance of the integrated management system and on opportunities for improvement in particular to top management.
- Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organisation.
- Ensuring that the integrity of the integrated management system is maintained when changes to the integrated management system are planned and implemented.
- Ensuring the defined procedures and practices of Integrated management system are deployed in the process, understood by all personnel involved and compliance is confirmed.
