About the role:

The Producer is the key owner and liaison for all functional areas of project
management and engages on projects through content planning, content creation,
author management/relations, production, rights and permissions, customer
acceptance, and content archiving.

The Content Producer executes on the delivery of all assigned program components




and project tasks over the entire program lifecycle (initiate, plan, build,
execute, control, release). The Producer is accountable to deliver high quality,
commercially successful print and/or digital programs on time and within
budget.

High Level Responsibilities:

* Manage the execution of content development and production plans for Math,
Statistics, Engineering, and Computer Science titles (both print and digital)
to deliver high quality, commercially successful product families on time and
within budget.
* Manage a select number of print and digital projects, which may range from
low to high in complexity, including the following:
* printed textbooks, covers, and supplements
* ebooks developed in Pearson’s Bronte/CITE toolset
* digital supplements (e.g. PowerPoint lecture slides, HTML animations)
* digital-first products, such as REVEL or MyLab online courses
* Manage author relationships and hire/ma
