Role Description This is a part-time, remote Accountant role. The Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring cash flow. The role also involves supporting tax preparation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and responding to internal inquiries regarding financial data.



The Accountant will collaborate with other team members through digital communication tools and may contribute to process improvements and financial reporting best practices.
Qualifications
Robust proficiency in general accounting principles, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
Experience using accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms; Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis to support decision-making.
Understanding of tax concepts and regulatory compliance relevant to small businesses or individual clients.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain financial information to non-specialists.
