Role Overview

We are seeking a
Senior Principal Engineer
to own and drive the API platform for SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge (CSE). You will define the technical vision, architecture, and evolution of a cloud-native SSE platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure,



and high-performing.

As a hands-on leader, you will design distributed systems and APIs that enable secure, Zero Trust access to applications, SaaS, and enterprise resources, while mentoring a global team and driving engineering excellence across the platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the API as a product — defining technical direction, scalability strategy, and long-term evolution
- Design and build high-performance, secure, production-grade Go services
- Architect distributed systems that balance performance, reliability, and extensibility
- Translate business and product requirements into clean, scalable system designs
- Lead code reviews and elevate engineering quality across the team
- Drive secure coding practices and enforce API security standards
- Guide CI/CD/CT best practices and improve developer productivity
