QA Engineer

Nature Of Work

You will contribute as a team member in testing and quality assurance of application features
You will work with cross-functional and distributed teams to validate new features and enhancements
You will execute functional, API, and basic automation tests for product components
Participate in testing of applications (UI, backend, APIs) to ensure quality and reliability

Participate In QA Activities By

Executing test cases and contributing to test planning activities
Supporting automation efforts for regression and functional testing
Identifying, logging, and tracking defects effectively
Ensuring basic quality standards and contributing to system stability

Collaborate Across Teams By

Working closely with developers, QA members, and product teams
Participating in sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives)
Supporting junior members and sharing knowledge within the team
Managing assigned testing tasks/modules independently with some guidance

About The Ideal Candidate

Education & Experience

University degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or equivalent
5–8 years of experience in QA / Automation Testing

Technical Skills

5–8 years in QA / Functional Testing
Robust understanding of SDLC / STLC
Backend testing using SQL (Oracle / MySQL)
API testing with Postman / SOAP UI
Automation exposure: Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress Basic UI & API automation Awareness of automation frameworks
Basic programming knowledge in Java / JavaScript
Understanding of OOP concepts

Tools & Platforms

CI/CD exposure (Jenkins or Azure Devops)
Version control (Git)
Build/testing tools (Devops, XUnit, TestNG)
Data formats: JSON, XML, HTML, CSS

Modern QA Expectations

Awareness of AI-assisted testing tools: Test generation Self-healing automation Tools like Testim, Functionize (or similar)

System & QA Awareness

Basic understanding of: API validation & contracts Logging & debugging Test automation strategies
Exposure to Agil
