Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled
Ribbon SBC Engineer
to support, manage, and optimize Session Border Controller infrastructure within a complex enterprise/UCC environment. The role involves
L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance
of Ribbon (Sonus) SBC platforms to ensure high availability, security, and performance of voice services.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Support
- Provide
L2/L3 support
for Ribbon SBC (Sonus SBC 1000/2000/5000 series)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity of SBC infrastructure
- Handle
incident management, problem management, and service requests
- Perform
root cause analysis (RCA)
for voice and signaling issues
- Ensure adherence to
SLA/KPI compliance

Configuration & Implementation
- Configure and manage:
- SIP trunks, dial plans, routing policies
- Transformation tables (SIP header manipulation)
- TLS/SRTP configurations for secure communication
- Support
recent deployments, migrations, and upgrades
- Integrate SBC with:
- Microsoft Teams (Direct Routing)
- Skype for Business / Lync
- CUCM / other PBX platforms
