L&T; PES is looking for passionate and talented professionals for the role of Sr. Engineer – Industrial Product Design.

Job Location: Powai, Mumbai

Experience Required: 3 to 6 Years

Education Qualification: B.Des / M.Des

Key Responsibilities

User workspace design for Defence systems/equipment & Industrial Systems
Human factors and ergonomics-based design
User experience (UI/UX) design
Packaging & layout of complex engineering systems
Design for assembly, manufacturing & maintenance
Development of soft models and mock-ups for concept evaluation
Coordination with Analysis & Engineering teams for optimization and detailing
Collaboration with software teams for UI implementation
Technical support for manufacturing, integration, testing & field trials
Capturing feedback for continuous design improvement

Required Skills





Strong problem-solving and conceptualization skills
Valuable sketching and product visualization abilities
Proficiency in 3D modelling and realistic rendering tools
Knowledge of image editing and graphic design software
Understanding of materials & manufacturing processes
Engineering fundamentals like strength of materials, fluid dynamics, etc. will be an added advantage

Candidates with prior experience in the Defence sector will be preferred.
