Key Responsibilities:
Design synthetic routes for novel agrochemical leads and intermediates.
Execute multi-step organic synthesis, reaction optimization, and route scouting.
Conduct structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies in collaboration with biology teams.
Purify and characterize compounds using contemporary analytical techniques (NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, GC, IR).
Support scale-up trials from lab to pilot plant for promising leads and intermediates.
Document experimental procedures and maintain detailed laboratory records (ELN).
Conduct literature and patent searches to identify current synthetic methodologies.
Work with interdisciplinary teams (biology, formulation, regulatory, process engineering).
Ensure compliance with EHS, GLP, and regulatory standards in laboratory operations.
