We are having an urgent opening for the position of Manager(Indirect Tax qualified) for a reputed CA Firm in the Kolkata(Salt Lake) location.

:
Ability to draft detailed petitions for assessment and appeal proceedings
Experience in representing companies before the Indirect Tax assessment and appellate authorities,
Ability to draft opinion on GST matters
Profound knowledge in GST and erstwhile Service Tax and
Excellent drafting skill in English
GST Compliance (monthly and annual)
GST Assessment Proceedings: Drafting detailed submission in response to show cause notice and various letters issued by the GST department and attending hearing before the GST Officers
Appellate proceedings in respect of GST and Erstwhile Service Tax (old cases) – Drafting appeal (including detailed written submission)
The candidate is preferably a whole-time employee of a renowned skilled consultancy firm having significant focus on Indirect Tax assignments (like Desai Hari Bhakti,



Lakshmi Kumaran & Sridharan, GST Dost etc.)
The candidate must have drafted detailed submissions in response to ‘Show-cause Notices’ issued by the indirect tax authorities to companies.
Habit to read case laws, notifications, circulars etc. on regular basis
Candidate has drafted reply to show-cause notice issued by the GST Authority / erstwhile Service Tax Authority to companies and whether he/she has represented companies before the assessment and appellate authorities (GST and erstwhile Service Tax)

Candidate profile:
Experience in GST compliance
The candidate must have work experience (solely relating to GST and erstwhile Service Tax) of atleast three years.
Having profound knowledge in GST and erstwhile Service Tax
Excellent drafting skill in English
