Role & responsibilities
Assist surgeons and the OT team during surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the operation theatre.
Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, consumables, and OT supplies are available and properly sterilized before procedures.
Follow strict infection-control, aseptic, and sterilization protocols at all times.
Handle OT equipment safely and report any malfunction or maintenance requirement promptly.
Assist with patient preparation, positioning, shifting, and maintaining OT safety standards.
Maintain proper documentation, instrument counts, stock records, and post-operative OT cleaning and turnover.
