Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and instrumentation spares.
Understand maintenance requirements, technical specifications, BOMs and drawings before sourcing.
Identify, develop and evaluate reliable vendors for MRO requirements.
Prepare RFQs, comparative statements and Purchase Orders (POs); obtain quotations and negotiate pricing.
Ensure timely availability of critical and breakdown-related maintenance spares.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Stores, Production, Finance and Quality teams.
Monitor pending orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance.
Maintain optimum stock levels and support inventory control to minimize excess/obsolete inventory.
Handle vendor negotiations, cost reduction and supplier development activities.
Maintain procurement records, vendor data and reports using SAP/ERP and MS Excel.




Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and technical specifications.

Required Skills
Maintenance Purchase / MRO Procurement / Engineering Purchase.
Robust practical knowledge of maintenance spare parts procurement.
Manufacturing, engineering, foundry or heavy-industry experience preferred.
Robust vendor development, negotiation and follow-up skills.
SAP MM / ERP Purchase knowledge preferred.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Ability to understand technical specifications, drawings and maintenance requirements.
Robust communication, coordination and analytical skills.
Ability to handle urgent procurement requirements effectively.
