TGT Science Teacher

Job Summary

Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a dedicated and experienced TGT Science Teacher to teach middle and secondary school students. The candidate should have solid subject knowledge and the ability to make Science engaging through practical, activity-based, and technology-supported learning.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Science for assigned classes as per the prescribed curriculum.
Prepare effective lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Teach concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science as applicable to the grade level.
Prepare students effectively for CBSE/State Board examinations.
Conduct experiments, demonstrations, projects, and practical activities.
Conduct regular tests and evaluate student performance.
Provide additional academic support to slow learners and academically challenged students.
Use smart classrooms, digital resources, models, laboratory activities, and innovative teaching methods.
Develop students' scientific thinking, observation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Maintain accurate attendance, marks, lesson records, and student progress reports.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and academic activities.




Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with the academic team to improve student learning outcomes.

Eligibility & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Science or relevant subject.
B.Ed. is mandatory.
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.
Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
Good knowledge of laboratory activities and practical-based learning.
Ability to use digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
Student-centred approach with strong interpersonal skills.
Preference will be given to Tamil Nadu candidates.
